Roger Waters se presentó ayer por la noche en el concierto a beneficio “Music Heals” -“La música cura”-, en Washington, D.C., donde interpretó varios histde Pink Floyd nada más y nada menos que con Billy Corgan, cantante y guiterrista de Smashing Pumpkins y Tom Morello, violero de Rage Against the Machine.

Entre los clásicos estuvieron “Comfortably Numb”, “Brain Damage/Eclipse”, como también el cover de Bob Dylan “Forever Young”. Y esa no fue la única sorpresa de la noche, ya que el bajista se dio el lujo de tocar por primera vez en vivo el tema de Pink Floyd “When the tigers broke free”.

Waters planea una gira mundial en 2016 para presentar su nuevo disco como solista, el primero desde 1992 -“Amused to Death”-, del cual ya dio a conocer uno de los temas llamado “Crystal Clear”, que tocó en vivo junto a la banda estadounidense My Morning Jacket, en agosto de este año.
