Así sonó el primer recital de la superbanda Prophets of Rage
Miembros de Rage Against The Machine, Cypress Hill y Public Enemy se unieron en una nueva superbanda que hizo su debut ayer por la noche en el corazón rockero de Los Ángeles.
Tom Morello, Tim Commeford y Brad Wilk, de Rage Against The Machine, se volvieron a juntar ayer por la noche en el bar Whisky Go Go, en Los Ángeles, donde hicieron su debut con su nueva superbanda Prophets of Rage que tiene como frontman a B-Real, legendario cantante de Cypress Hill y a Chuck D, de Public Enemy.
El grupo pasó por clásicos de Rage Against como “Killing In The Name,” “Guerilla Radio,” “Testify,” “Know Your Enemy,” “Bombtrack,” “People of the Sun,” and “Take The Power Back”. Por su parte, de Cypress Hill tocaron “Rock Superstar”, “Hand On The Pump”, “Insane In The Brain” y “Ain’t Goin’ Out”, mientras que de Public Enemy interpretó “My Uzi Weighs A Ton”, “Can't Truss It”, "Bring the Noise", “Terrordome”, “Shut'em Down” y “Fight the Power”. Además presentaron su tema nuevo “The Party Is Over”.
Prophets of Rage ubicó una cuenta regresiva en su página oficial, el mismo método que utilizaron para anunciar la nueva superbanda, que termina dentro de dos días, seguramente para confirmar el próximo lugar para una segunda fecha. ¿Vendrán para el continente sudamericano en un futuro?
